-8 years Hanover Economic Development Council

-40 years executive experience with small and multi-national industry

-Participation in projects with Provincial and Federal Government

-Strong skills in capital project management, cost control, training and safety

-Hanover Hospital Auxilary, Director and Chair of Hanover Hospital Foundation

-Organizing committee members of Hanover Probus, a social organization for retirees

-P&H Arena and Facility, Lions of Hanover, Annual Radiothon, Annual Canada Day, Relay for Life

What do you see as the major issue(s) facing business-owners in Grey-Bruce?

Maintaining and improving Customer loyalty and tax increases

What strategies do you have in mind to stimulate economic growth in the region?

-Encourage new Retail and Commercial businesses to fill MT stores

-Encourage new investors to fill vacant Industrial lots

-Encourage In-Home Business development.

Do you feel economic growth should focus on:

A) Bringing in new business developments, or

B) Encouraging small businesses presently in operations?

BOTH.

Do you think local business taxes should be:

A) Increased

B) Decreased

C) Maintained at current levels

MAINTAINED.

Should there be any changes in the services offered to local businesses?

YES. Within budgetary constraint any Downtown Improvement.
