Options & Rates

There are several ways to submit content to our publication. Accepted submissions are subject to the following one-time publishing fees. Articles run for the period specified and may be retained for longer periods depending on popularity. The standard display term is 12-24 months. A summary of all articles are posted to our FaceBook page and fed to Twitter.

Note: Publishing rates do not include writing your article, which will vary in cost based on the number of words, research required, etc. The average rate is between $65 – $100 for a 400-500 word piece. Articles may also be submitted print-ready. Contact us if you require writing services.

Business Profiles

A business profile can focus on many aspects of your business – highlight your accomplishments, explain your service and showcase the people behind the business. Articles may include 2 photos and a video link.

Standard length 350 – 600 words

Publishing Rate: $85

Runs for: 24 months



Are you an expert in your field and want to inform the regional business community of your capabilities? Consider being a columnist in GBBJ.

As a columnist, you will write on the subject of your choice for a total of 4 or 6 articles in a 12-month period. Topics can be reasonably broad, such as personal finance, technology, business management, etc.

You will receive attribution within your article and can provide a short bio, including a photo, business name and contact information. Your name also appears in columnists section of our publication. Articles may include 2 photos and a video link.

Columnists must agree to provide a minimum of 4 columns in a 12-month period.

Publishing Rate: Variable

 4 articles over 12 months – $100 per article  

 6 articles over 12 months – $75 per article      

9 articles over 12 months – $65 per article    

Articles run  for: 24 months

Standard length 300 – 500 words


Business Press Releases

Got something important to say about your business? A press release is any easy way to inform people changes in your business, new product development, goals achieved or new services. Articles may include 2 photos and a video link.

Standard length 150 – 350 words

Publishing Rate: $75        

Runs for: 12 months

News, Editorials General Press Releases

We accept editorial submissions from the general public. All submissions are subject to approval of our editorial board. Check our our guidelines for editorial submissions.

Standard length 150 – 500 words

Publishing Rate: Free              

Runs for: 12 months


You are free to comment on articles that appear in our publication although we reserve the right not to post comments that we think are in bad taste, defamatory or offensive. So if you want your opinion heard observe these guidelines.

The first session of Quick Books provides participants with an overview and access to a trial version of the program. The second session will be questions and answers to address specific issues. Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles is required. Limited to 8, you must bring your own laptop. (This workshop does not cover the online version of Quick Books)
