On February 3 Grey County launched the draft “Made in Grey” County Economic Development Strategy and is looking to local business and community leaders to provide input. The draft strategy is available on investingrey.ca for comment until February 18, 2015.
Development of the strategy was led by a steering committee made up of business leaders, elected officials and County staff. It focuses on themes and actions that specifically target where the County can add the most value and is the first step towards creating a positive environment where businesses and investors have the information, resources and support needed to succeed.
As this Economic Development Strategy rolls out, the County will take a leadership role by working closely with municipal and business partners to help them realize their economic development potential. With this strategy in place, Grey County is getting ready to attract, retain and expand investment within the County’s various communities.
