Are you an expert in the fields of finance & investment, accounting, business management or human resources?

The Grey Bruce Business Journal (GBBJ.biz) is an on-line business publication that offers news items, editorials and subject-oriented articles of interest to local business people.

If you are an expert in your field, and would like to reach this audience, we invite you to submit an article for inclusion in the Advice section of our publication. Submissions should be approximately 300 words in length but can be longer if well written. Articles of a strictly advertising nature will not be accepted – keep it informative.

All accepted articles will include your name in the byline. You may also provide a business logo and web site URL. You do not have to be the original author of the article but must have rights to redistribute it.

FREE – Pre-registration is required

Discover the basic steps involved in starting a business, evaluating your idea, determining your market and basic rules and regulations. Attending the is workshop is mandatory for anyone applying to the Starter Company Plus Program.

Business Enterprise Centre Training Room, $80 (HST Included)
Instructor: Jane Gallagher
The first session of Quick Books provides participants with an overview and access to a trial version of the program. The second session will be questions and answers to address specific issues. Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles is required. Limited to 8, you must bring your own laptop. (This workshop does not cover the online version of Quick Books)
